'Focus on the Faculty': Shonda Anderson

Today on “Focus on the Faculty” we are featuring Shonda Anderson, a 4K Teacher at the Primary building. Shonda is from Stanley, WI and attended Metropolitan State University St. Paul, MN and the Dominican University Chicago, IL after High School. She has worked for the Shell lake School district for four years.

Shonda is married and has two sons, Oliver and Auggie. Her favorite movie is ‘The Italian Job’ and her favorite author is Dr. Seuss. She enjoys photography and painting in her spare time. Growing up, she always wanted to be: a MOMMY! A teacher she remembers most from school is her kindergarten teacher. Shonda said, “I cried every day and she was so kind.” When asked about the funniest thing a student has ever said to you, she answered, “I was teaching my four-year-olds about famous artists and their paintings. We were looking at Starry Night by Van Gogh. One of my students was in awe of this painting and said "He's a really good colorer!”

What Shonda loves most about working at Shell Lake is all the amazing and supportive staff and parents. They love you too, thanks for being wonderful!
