With the holiday weekend upon us and area businesses being packed with tourists, it's a good time to remember to check for counterfeit bills.
A DrydenWire reader sent us a message on Facebook earlier today stating that counterfeit $20's were being circulated in the area.
This particular bill was discovered in Danbury, Wisconsin.
The serial number on this bill is Cyrillic (Russian), meaning "Souvenir", so it is very easy to spot but only if you are looking for it.
If you have spotted a counterfeit bill, please contact your local Police Department or Sheriff's Office.
