Local Woman Sentenced to Prison for 3 Years on Meth Charges

A local woman, Tania Milton, with an address last listed from Spooner WI, was sentenced to prison for charges stemming from multiple Methamphetamine drug charges in Washburn County Circuit Court.

According to public record, Ms. Milton plead guilty on October 11th, to charges of Felony Manufacturing or Delivering Methamphetamine and Felony Possession of Methamphetamine. The Court accepted her guilty pleas and found her guilty.

These charges were filed in two separate cases in Washburn County Circuit Court. The Court ordered a sentence of 6 years total on the conviction for Manufacturing or Delivering Methamphetamine; 4 years actual confinement in Wisconsin State prison with 2 years of extended supervision by Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole.

Milton was also sentenced to 3 years for the conviction of Possession of Methamphetamine; 6 months of confinement in prison with 2 years & 6 months of extended supervision.

In 2014, Ms. Milton was charged with Possession of Amphetamines with Intent to Deliver. On March 30th, 2015, the Court had sentenced her to 5 years of supervision by Probation & Parole for the conviction on that charge.

The Court revoked Milton's sentence on September 23rd, 2016 and issued a sentence of 6 years total on that conviction; 3 years of confinement in prison followed by 3 years of extended supervision.

Ms. Milton's sentences on all 3 cases are to run concurrent and she received credit for 154 days already served in county jail.
