Weather Update: Here Comes The Rain; Wet Weather in Forecast

WIDESPREAD RAIN IS ON THE WAY – rain showers and thunderstorm chances will continue later today, beginning over northwest Wisconsin, and increasing to the north by the evening and overnight. Slightly cooler temperatures by the lake today. Periods of rainfall will continue for much of the week, with showers and t-storms continuing through Wednesday night. Heavy rainfall likely to lead to flooding in some areas. Additionally, there is a marginal risk of severe storms Tuesday afternoon and evening, possibly as far north as the Twin Ports. Primary threats will be large hail and possibly some damaging winds.
