Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brian Cole. I am 51 years old and live in Drummond, Wisconsin where we moved to almost 6 months ago.
The last 6 years I have been involved in Motorcycle Ministry and patched in as a member of the Faith Riders MM. Since I moved up here to the Northwoods, we have a new chapter called the Chequamegon chapter.
Basically we minister to the 1%er clubs and go to as many bike rally’s as we can to minister to people, pray with people and spread the Gospel message. We also do many support rides, for those fighting cancer, child abuse, sex trafficking, our local police, and most especially for our veterans.
I have also been involved with jail and prison ministry for the last 6 years. I am part of Prison Fellowship, Good News Jail and Prison Ministry, and Crossroads Outreach. Typically the Chippewa Prison and Jackson Prison are my regulars, but go into many others as a part of the ministries I am involved with. I currently work inside the Washburn and Ashland jails, and do one-on-ones with the inmates. We recently started a weekly Bible study for the women at the Ashland jail, and soon to start a faith based addictions program there.
The last 4 years 3 months I was an Associate Pastor/Youth Pastor/Outreach Pastor at the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Stanley, Wisconsin. I was licensed in the Evangelical Free Church 3 years ago.
And in August of 2016 the Lord called my family here to Drummond. I never had a desire to be a Pastor, but the Lord has His own plans, and they are awesome plans if we put aside what we think is best for us and follow His lead. I am now the Pastor at The Oaks Community Church in Drummond, Wi., as well as the Director of Addiction Transformation out of Crossroads Outreach in Ashland.
I have been a public speaker for over 6 years, and travel all over the United States giving testimony and messages. About what, you may ask?
Notice all the numbers above. These are things that I have been involved with for the last 6 years. Ya see, I was released from prison on June 1, 2010.
And I have spent a total of 27 years in juvenile detention facilities and prisons. I was a drug addict, I shot a man, I was involved heavily in Satanism and the occult for 33 years, I despised Christians and certainly didn’t believe in their God. People were only good for one thing, and that was to be used to get the things I wanted. This is just a small sample of the beast I had become under the dominion of the enemy. BUT GOD!
I was a dope dealer but now I am a Hope dealer, and the messages I hope to bring on a weekly basis are ones I pray will reach the lost, or, at least, give hope to those who are lost and to those watching their loved ones destroy themselves and think there is no hope.
Our hope is found in Jesus Christ and He is the only one who can truly SET US FREE (John 8:32).
Note: Every Sunday, Brian Cole will share a new message that will be posted on DrydenWire.com
