Washburn County Sheriff's Office Receives Donation from Lamperts

SPOONER, Wis. -- Recently, the Washburn County Sheriff's Office received a donation from Lampert Lumber in Spooner for equipment and supplies. The donation has completed the Sheriff's office mission with building new equipment for the K9 programs agility equipment.

Washburn county's K9 program is mainly funded by donations. With support from the community, the K9 program continues to be a success.

Both the Sheriff's office and Spooner Police will utilize the equipment for K9 training purposes.
