The Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a partnership with the Hayward Lions Club and Walleyes for Northwest Wisconsin to bring the Hayward Lakes area a fishing spectacular like no other! In conjunction with the 68th Annual Musky Festival presented by the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce and Timber Ford of Hayward, these groups will be hosting the 2017 $100,000 Hayward Musky Fest Lions Family Fishing Spectacular!
“We are very excited to bring the Musky back to Musky Fest! The Hayward Lakes area is famous for being home to the World Record Musky, as well as the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame. We hope this spectacular encourages new and seasoned anglers to get out and enjoy our lakes and maybe bring home a life changing prize!’
Registration will be opening on May 6, 2017 in conjunction with Wisconsin’s Fishing Opener. The Spectacular will begin on June 20th and end on June 24th. The first certified state record Musky, Tiger Musky, Small Mouth Bass, Northern Pike or Crappie caught in the Hayward Lakes area during this time will win $100,000!
