TURTLE LAKE, WI -- 169 grams of Methamphetamine has been seized and one person has been arrested following a traffic stop by the Turtle Lake Police Department.
On Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 9p, an Officer from the Turtle Lake Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple equipment violations, according to a press release sent to DrydenWire.com from Turtle Lake Police Chief, Al Gabe.
Chief Gabe stated that while conducting the traffic stop, a Barron County Sheriff Dept K-9 Unit did a walk around on the vehicle and the K-9 gave a "positive alert" on the vehicle for drugs.
The officers searched the vehicle and found 169 grams of Methamphetamine along with several drug paraphernalia items, according to the press release.
The driver — and lone occupant of the vehicle — Marcos Jose Davis (36 of Ramsey) was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine.
“The Turtle Lake Police Department Officers are making a daily effort to get the illegal drugs off the streets of our community,” Chief Gabe said. “This is one example of what they do.”
