POLK COUNTY -- Felony charges including OWI causing injury have been filed against James Pregler, age 54, following a two-vehicle crash that resulted in injuries to at least one person.

Pregler is charged with Class H Felony Operating While Intoxicated 4th Offense, Class H Felony Operating While Intoxicated Causing Injury, Class I Felony Attempting to Flee Or Elude an Officer, and Felony Hit-and-Run Involve Injury for the September 17th crash that occurred in Polk County, WI. He also received non-criminal citations for Unsafe Lane Deviation, Operating Left of Center, and Failure to Stop/Yield for an Emergency Vehicle.
