(Northwood School District) -- The Northwood Art Club and SkillsUSA organizations wanted to invite you to the 2016-2017 Empty Bowls Dinner and Art Sale. The event will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 starting after school and going until 6:00pm, when the Elementary concert begins.
For those of you unaware, the proceeds of the Empty Bowls event are split between the Gordon Food Shelf and Comfort Foods of Minong. The cost to put on the event is completely fund-raised and/or donated in advance, so the money collected from ticket sales and the Art Sale go directly to the local food shelf. That means 100% of your support or contribution will go back to the community.
You can get meals to go if you are unable to stay. Any items left after the event will still be for sale in the Art room. This year the ticket will include a handmade bowl, two soup options, bread from the Hayward bakery, salad, drink, and a dessert.
