When you heard my name was “Bessie,” you exclaimed, “Wow!
That was the name of Grandpa’s favorite cow!”
Well, I don’t mind that much, ‘cuz I’m a country kitty.
I’d rather be down on the farm than stuck in some big city.
A young tabby girl with blonde highlights in my fur,
If you rub my spotted belly, I’ll roll around and purr.
Now it’s time to settle down, I no longer want to roam.
So please let me come and join you in your cozy country home!
