Pet of the Week

I’m a young Tortie girl they call “Artemis;”
When you meet me, try to remember this:
When all other methods fail,
I communicate with my tail!
If I’m happy, I’ll trot ‘cross the room,
tail held high like a feathery plume;
When my tail swishes quickly, from side to side,
I’ve got angry feelings I just can’t hide;
As I watch out the window, never saying a word,
my tail will twitch if I spot a plump bird;
But here’s one thing that my tail can’t say:
“Please come here and adopt me today!”
