I’m Gypsy and this is a “shout-out” to my friends in their golden years!
Sure, puppies and kittens are lots of fun, but there’s not much between their ears;
Young ones will climb your curtains or chew up your favorite shoes;
Even the most patient owner will soon be singing the blues!
Seniors like me are calm and wise;
You can see true compassion in our mature eyes;
So, don’t count us out when you seek a new friend;
We’ll show you devotion ‘till all our days end.
