- I found my dream job at age 26 and after 8 ½ years, it is still my dream job! I work for Washburn County Tourism Association as the Executive Director. I am blessed to have the opportunity to promote our amazing area to potential visitors and I love it!
- I grew up in Lampson and graduated from Spooner High School in 2002.
- My second home is Montana. Most of my mom’s family moved there in the 80’s and I spent summers out there growing up.
- In 2004 I spent my summer working at a guest ranch outside of West Yellowstone, Montana.
- My husband and I built a house in 2016 on the corner of his family’s farm where he grew up.
- We have a golden retriever named Bella and two “farm cats” named Callie and Midnight. They have extra toes, it’s kind of cute.
- In the next five years my goal is to add a donkey, goats and horses to the mix. We’ll see if I can convince my husband…
- I am a Spooner Rodeo Committee member.
- I’ve been a member of my ATV/Snowmobile Club for as long as I can remember.
- I love vegetables. All of them I’ve ever tried anyway. I would eat them for every meal if I had more time to cook.
- I love to kayak, hunt, snowmobile, snowshoe, hike and ATV.
- My first car was a 1994 Dodge Shadow in teal. It was pretty awesome.
- I prefer to wear jeans and cowboy boots over dresses and heels any day.
- I am the proud mama of a 10 month old girl. She is hilarious. I could sit and watch her play all day long, every day.
- I love office supplies. Post it notes, baby post it notes, binders, gel pens, sharpies…you can’t even tone down my excitement when an office supply order comes in.
- I like my towels folded a certain way. Working in and managing hotels makes you a little particular when it comes to folding. I’m still teaching my husband the hotel fold.
- I love horses. I used to ride almost daily when I was visiting my family in Montana during the summers.
- Every other year growing up, we went to Florida for Christmas to visit my grandparents. I loved taking the ferry to the island and searching the beach for shells and shark teeth.
- I season my popcorn with Himalayan Salt, Turmeric, Garlic Powder, and Pepper. You should probably try it sometime.
- In 2014, my friend Sarah and I went to Vegas to watch the National Finals Rodeo. Turns out we didn’t like Vegas itself very much, but the rodeo was amazing!!
- On February 27, 2016, I married the love of my life. It was a perfect day with friends and family. Even the weather cooperated; I think the temperature hit 56 or 57 that day…warm enough to be outside in a wedding dress without a coat.
