SPOONER, WI — Charly Ray joined DrydenWire founder Ben Dryden Tuesday morning for a live, long-form conversation on DrydenWire’s Facebook page, giving viewers an opportunity to get to know the Democratic candidate for Wisconsin’s 25th Senate District.
The discussion was casual and unscripted, following DrydenWire’s conversational format focused on learning about the person behind the campaign rather than conducting a traditional interview. There were no prewritten questions, and topics developed naturally throughout the conversation. Viewers were also able to submit questions during the live stream.
Ray is currently the only Democrat to announce a campaign for Wisconsin’s 25th Senate District, which includes Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Polk, Sawyer, and Washburn counties.
A Washburn resident, Ray is an outdoorsman and forester by trade and a small business owner who operates an independent bookstore in Bayfield with his wife. He has served 10 years as an elected town supervisor and six years on the Bayfield County Board.
