4-Month Long Investigation Leads To Seizure Of 165g Of Heroin

SAWYER COUNTY — A Hayward man has been arrested after a four-month long investigation of drug-trafficking on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation led to the seizure of 164.5 grams of Heroin, according to a press release from the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Police Department.


(Press Release)On January 8th, 2020 at approximately 10:59pm, Officers of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Police Department executed a search warrant at 13021W Water Tower Lane.

Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Police officers conducted a 4-month long investigation of drug trafficking on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation at the address stated above. After obtaining probable cause for a search warrant LCO NADGI team members executed the search warrant.

As a result of the search warrant, officers seized 164.5 grams of Heroin with an approximate street value of over $50,000. Officers also seized over $2000 in cash and multiple items of drug trafficking and drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested Clinton Price Jr (31) of Hayward WI for Delivery of Heroin and Possession with intent to deliver and Maintaining a drug dwelling. Officers also arrested two 17-year-old males from Minneapolis Minnesota and two juveniles that were transported to a juvenile detention center.

The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Police Department will continue their efforts in their mission to protect the citizens of the Lac Courte Oreilles reservation.
