4 Question Friday: Real Estate Solutions Office Manager, Katie Weyers

RICE LAKE, WI - If you've stopped by Real Estate Solutions in the past seven years, it's a pretty sure bet that you've met Office Manager Katie Weyers. Katie joined Real Estate Solutions directly after graduating Northwood Technical College (formally WITC) with her administrative degree and quickly scaled the ranks to become the full time office manager. Her administrative degree prepared her well for her chosen career, but her coworkers and clients say what really makes her a standout member of the Real Estate Solutions team is her personable nature, attention to detail, and ability to make the most challenging aspects of managing business operations of the area's #1 real estate office look easy. Besides expertly balancing the wide variety of operational tasks, we wondered what else there is to know about Real Estate Solutions office management aficionado. So, we asked her four unconventional questions

  1. Would you consider yourself a morning person or a night owl? Not really either, but probably more of a night owl than a morning person. I'm not the best person to talk to before I have had coffee.
  2. Christmas is coming up... colored or white Christmas lights on your tree? White lights are the best! It adds a touch of serenity to the season.
  3. If you had a time machine, would you go back in time or into the future? Probably back in time. I think it best to let the future be unknown.
  4. What was your least favorite food as a child and do you like it now? Green Peas. I used to drown them in ketchup so I didn't have to taste them. Now, I can take them or leave them.

Outside of her career, Katie enjoys many of life’s simple pleasures to the greatest extent. Katie comes from a large family and shared that she's really looking forward to the upcoming holiday season and getting a little extra time to be with her parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. She grew up locally and enjoys the changing seasons and all the activities our area has to offer, but also noted that she does lean toward warmer vacation destinations when she gets the chance. Katie also finds time to volunteer in the community and with her church. She assists with the children's faith programming at World Harvest Church in Rice Lake as well as assists in Real Estate Solutions community giving coordination.
