Widespread rainfall continues today and this evening, if lighter and less intense than Wednesday night. Temperatures above freezing through most of today will also lead to snowmelt. This, combined with the rainfall could lead to street and urban flooding, especially in areas of poor drainage. Flood watches remain in effect for most of northern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. Other impacts from the storm will be the potential for roof collapses with saturated heavier snow, basement flooding and roof leaks due to ice dams.
