The holiday season is a joyous occasion for us to spend quality time with those we love. We want your family and our family to be able to celebrate the holiday season safely and in great health.
However, today, Burnett County is faced with high COVID-19 transmission levels, and this is creating an increased demand on us. Our doctors, nurses, and others are doing everything they can to take care of you when you’re sick, but those hospitals and health systems which we rely on for support for severely ill patients, are incredibly overwhelmed. At any time, you or a loved one might need our support and the reality is that your ability to get the care you need when you need it may be limited.
Our wish this holiday is simple — please think twice. Do just one thing, take one more step to protect yourself and those around you. We’re tired, but we’re not going anywhere. We’re here to treat you, support you and give you the very best of ourselves, whatever may come. But we need your help to keep our families and communities safe. We need your help to make this a season of festive celebration, rather than profound regret. And we know it’s not too late.
