WASHBURN COUNTY — Aaron Marcoux will join Ben Dryden as a special guest on DrydenWire Live tomorrow morning, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 8:30a. The live-streamed interview will air on DrydenWire’s Facebook page.
Marcoux currently serves as Washburn County District Attorney and is seeking election as Washburn County Circuit Court Judge in the upcoming nonpartisan spring election on April 7, 2026.
During Tuesday’s program, Marcoux is expected to discuss his decision to run for judge, his experience serving in multiple roles across Wisconsin’s justice system, and his priorities if elected. He has served as Washburn County District Attorney since 2019 and was elected to the position in 2020 and 2024. Prior to that, Marcoux served as a Sawyer County Assistant District Attorney from 2015 to 2019 and as a Wisconsin Assistant State Public Defender from 2010 to 2015.
Marcoux has highlighted court efficiency, timely case resolution, and maintaining a fair and impartial judicial process as key themes of his campaign. In announcing his candidacy earlier this year, he pointed to publicly available court data showing increases in the average age of case disposition in Washburn County and emphasized the importance of process improvements and responsible case management.
Viewers can also expect discussion surrounding court operations, public safety, case backlog concerns, and the role of a circuit court judge within the local justice system.
Marcoux’s opponent in the April 7 election is incumbent Judge Angeline Winton-Roe, who recently appeared on DrydenWire Live. The Washburn County Circuit Court race will be decided in Wisconsin’s nonpartisan spring election.
Viewers are encouraged to tune in live Tuesday at 8:30a on DrydenWire’s Facebook page and submit questions during the broadcast. As with all episodes of DrydenWire Live, a recording of the show will remain available on Facebook and will also be posted later in the day on DrydenWire’s YouTube channel and website at DrydenWire.com.
