SPOONER, WI – Spooner Health is proud to announce that April Busch has been named as the new Director of Emergency Services for Spooner Health.
April began her nursing career after earning her associate’s degree in nursing from Lake Superior College in May 2019. She went on to serve at Marshfield Medical Center in Rice Lake before joining the Spooner Health team as an RN House Supervisor. After two years in that role, April officially stepped into her new position overseeing the Emergency Department in August.
“I truly want my coworkers to feel supported in the amazing care they provide patients. Spooner Health consistently ranks in the 99th percentile for employee engagement, a testament to the positive and collaborative culture I witness every day,” shared April. “During my time as RN House Supervisor, I have gained invaluable experience and developed a strong passion for emergency management. With most of my friends and family residing in the area, I am deeply committed to ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare to our community.”
Bringing her hands-on experience in emergency services to her new leadership role, April has already made a positive impact on patient care at Spooner Health.
“We are excited to have April lead our Emergency Department team,” shared Clint Miller, BSN Chief Nursing Officer. “Her energy, dedication, and passion for emergency care are exactly what we need to continue providing the highest standard of care to the people we serve.”
Please join Spooner Health in congratulating April on her well-deserved promotion.
