MADISON – Representative Dave Armstrong (R-Rice Lake) has been selected as a member of the Speaker’s Task Force on Government Efficiency and Modernization.
This task force will search for ways to use artificial intelligence to make government more efficient while lowering the overall cost of government.
“Last session, I was privileged to be on the Speaker’s AI Task Force,” Representative Armstrong said. “Since then, I have been interested in ways that we can use AI to improve Wisconsin’s government, and I am pleased to be able to put that interest into action with the creation of the Speaker’s Task Force on Government Efficiency and Modernization.”
Representative Armstrong joins Representatives Piwowarczyk (Chairman), Bare (Vice Chair), Maxey, O’Connor, Tittl, Hong and Cruz on this task force.
Three other task forces were announced:
- The Speaker’s Task Force on Protecting Kids
- The Speaker’s Task Force on Rulemaking
- The Speaker’s Task Force on Elder Services
