POLK COUNTY -- On Monday, May 8, 2023, at 11:11a, The Polk County Sheriff’s Office emergency call center received a 911 call of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on Highway 35 and Clark Road in the Village of Dresser, Wisconsin.
Polk County Sheriff Brent Waak says that it was determined that a Pickup truck on Clark Road pulled into the path of a vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 35. Both vehicles were occupied by only the drivers.
The driver of the northbound vehicle on Highway 35 sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
On Thursday, May 11, 2022, Polk County Sheriff Brent Waak released the name of the person who died as a result of this crash.
Sheriff Waak has identified the person who died in this crash as 62-year-old Patrick Boucher from Dresser, Wisconsin.
This is the 3rd fatality in Polk County this year.
