BARRON COUNTY -- Authorities responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a pedestrian that occurred Tuesday night around 6:44p in Rice Lake.
According to a press release from the Rice Lake Police Department (RLPD), the accident occurred at the intersection of South Main Street and French Street.
During a preliminary investigation, the RLPD determined that Jordan Coulombe was crossing the street outside of the designated crosswalk area and was struck by a vehicle.
Mr. Coulombe was transported from the scene by the MMC Ambulance to MMC hospital. He was later flown by Life Link helicopter to Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire of injuries sustained in the crash.
Mr. Coulombe’s condition is stable at this time and he is expected to make a full recovery, according to RLPD.
