Authorities Searching For Missing Rice Lake Woman

BARRON COUNTY — A search is underway for Toni A. Peterson, 60, of Rice Lake, who was reported missing Monday night, according to the Rice Lake Police Department.

PRESS RELEASE

On Monday November 3, 2025, at approximately 7:10pm, Rice Lake resident Toni A. Peterson, 60 years old, was reported missing from her apartment.

Toni left some letters addressed to her family that have law enforcement and her family concerned for her welfare. Toni also left her cellular phone at her apartment.

Toni is believed to be operating a 2020 Honda CRV, gray, bearing Wisconsin registration AKL4656.

Automated license plate reader technology showed Toni driving in Rice Lake at approximately 8:16am, Washburn County at 8:32am, and in Ashland at 10:59am on 11/3/25.

Toni is from the Iron River (WI) area. Authorities between Rice Lake and that area have been notified and continue to look for Toni. Toni has been listed as a missing person.
