A baby Loon was found on the highway and was reunited with its mother, according to a Facebook post from area resident, Deb Pearse.
We found Mama!! Over 1/2 mile away! What carried her that far away..we will never know. I wish I could have kept the camera running while I opened the carrier. Mama was 10ft off shore and absolutely exploding! Im feeling Blessed to have been trusted with such an important task!! Trey named the baby loon "Lilly the Loon.." And yes we both cried!! He’s got a tender heart like his Mamas.
