Join us for a fun 5K dash to support the Shell Lake Police foundation!
Founded in 2017, the mission of the Shell Lake Police Foundation is to offer financial assistance to further the SLPD’s goals of maintaining a safe city, engaging community, providing effective enforcement, enhancing youth programming and promoting officer safety.
This years 5K proceeds will be split 50/50 between the foundation and the Washburn County Emergency Command Center project.
The Washburn County Emergency Command Center will be a fully mobile command center, able to respond to and manage communications at any emergency location. To date this project has been funded entirely by private donations and volunteer labor.
