Last night the Barron County Sheriff's Dept was requested at a residence in the City of Barron for disturbance by the Barron Police Dept. 1 subject refused to exit the residence and his identity was learned to be Matthew Tahtinen, 34 who had a felony arrest warrant. After several attempts to get Mr. Tahtinen to exit the residence, K-9 Chase was sent in. He was not located but a crawl space in the attic was located. Again after several attempts to get the person to exit K-9 Chase was sent in and apprehended Mr. Tahtinen. Tahtinen was treated for minor injuries from the apprehension and is currently in the Barron County Jail.
No injuries to any deputies or K-9 Chase.
