BARRON COUNTY -- On Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 11:20 p.m., the Barron County 911 Center received a 911 call from Ben and Maggie’s Town Pump reported a male subject just brandished a firearm at the front door and made some threats.
Deputies from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area and after a short search located a male suspect matching the description. The suspect was taken into custody and had a firearm in his possession.
Scott Popple, 34 of Cameron, is being held in the Barron County Jail on charges of Terrorist Threats and is awaiting formal charges by the Barron County District Attorney’s Office.
