Bethany Deneen To Run As Write-In Candidate For Shell Lake School Board

SHELL LAKE, Wis. -- Do you know who you want on your school board? Do you want a someone that cares about all types of students?  Someone that appreciates great teachers and sees great potential for Shell Lake students?  Someone who is a critical thinker and expects accountability from staff, students and administration?  Someone that wants opportunity for excellence in academics, arts, and athletics? I want that type of person, and I can be that person. That is why I registered as a write-in candidate for the Shell Lake school board.  

My name is Bethany Deneen. I have three kids in the district. They are all very different with different needs and strengths, spanning both schools and involved in everything from sports to music to special ed and more.  This gives me a broad perspective and an open mind to recognize a variety of needs and opportunities.

I have a background as an RN, although I have spent the last decade or so devoted to my family. I see many changes and challenges coming down the pike for Shell Lake.  I’m hoping my contribution could help to make those transitions as efficient and positive as possible.
