POLK COUNTY -- The body of a 25-year-old Osceola man was discovered near Cascade Falls in Polk County, according to a press release from the Osceola Police Department.
(Press Release) -- On Sunday, October 14 at approximately 3:30 p.m., the body of a man was found in the Osceola Creek, just above the Cascade Falls. The man was identified as 25-year-old Daniel Benjamin Thanh Gray from Osceola. Hikers spotted Gray, deceased, in the creek below STH 243.
Members from the Osceopa Police Department, Osceola Fire Department, Polk County Sheriff's Department, National Park Service and Polk County Medical Examiner's Office responded.
This incident is being investigated by Osceola Police Department and Polk County Sheriff's Department. At this time, no foul play is suspected.
