Bruce High School Student Allegedly Makes Violent Threats Toward School

On Monday, February 26, 2018 at approximately 1:15PM the Rusk County Sheriffs Office responded to the Bruce School in the Village of Bruce, County of Rusk for a complaint about a 15yr old male student that had made violent threats towards the school. The 15yr old male student (who is currently enrolled at the Bruce School) was removed from the school by the Sheriff’s Office and remains in the custody of the Sheriffs Office and the Rusk County Department of Health and Human Services (Juvenile Intake). 

At this time, there is no longer an active threat towards the school or any of the schools staff or students. The case is actively being investigated by the Rusk County Sheriffs Office.
