RUSK COUNTY — Samantha Taylor-Raymond, 41 years of age, from Bruce, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense.
On June 5, 2026, law enforcement received a driving complaint regarding a vehicle operating erratically on Highway 29 westbound near Spring Valley. Law enforcement located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop based on observed driving behavior. Upon making contact with the vehicle, troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol detected strong indications of intoxication emanating from the driver.
Standardized field sobriety tests were administered. Subsequently, the driver was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated (OWI) 4th Offense.
Additional referred charges for the driver include bail jumping, possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, and failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device (IID). The driver was eventually transported and transferred to the St. Croix County Jail.
"Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
