BURNETT COUNTY — A Burnett County burglary investigation that began with a high-speed pursuit and a wooded foot chase in March 2024 has now resulted in prison sentences for both suspects. Kaydee Mortensen, age 34, and Avery Weaver, age 32, were taken into custody following a high-speed pursuit and each received dozens of charges, including burglary and theft.
Mortensen was sentenced in October 2024 on her convictions from the case in Burnett County Circuit Court.
Weaver appeared recently and was sentenced on his convictions.
