BURNETT COUNTY — After over three decades of serving the citizens of Burnett County, Jackie Baasch has announced that she will not seek re-election as Burnett County Clerk of Circuit Court and will retire when her current term ends on January 3, 2027.
“I am retiring as Clerk of Circuit Court on January 3, 2027, when my term ends,” Baasch said in a statement to DrydenWire. “It has been a pleasure to serve the citizens of Burnett County over the past 33 years.”
Baasch said she has “especially enjoyed working in the court system,” beginning in 2008 when she was appointed as Burnett County Register in Probate. She was later elected as Clerk of Circuit Court in 2019, a position she has held since.
“I’ve met so many nice people over the years and will always be grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given.”
