POLK COUNTY — A man who had been working at a carnival in the Amery, WI, area is facing three felony charges in Polk County Circuit Court following allegations that he approached a juvenile near a dam in Amery, WI, offered her money for sexual activity, and made unwanted physical contact with her.
Carl Joseph Choppi, 36, of Rockford, IL, was arrested September 18, 2026, and placed on a $25,000 cash bond. Choppi is facing multiple felony charges, including soliciting a child for prostitution.
