While this year is certainly different, you can still make it special. Start new traditions or teach yourself or your children how to make that one family favorite recipe of Grandma's. Though 2020 may not have been the best year, find things to be thankful for and write them down. You may be surprised at how much you come up with.
Here are some tips from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on staying safe and healthy this Thanksgiving.
Please make sure your household is healthy if preparing treats or meals for others. Wearing masks and gloves is a great idea if preparing food for others. Don't forget to support our local businesses while shopping this year. Many have online options and curbside pickup or delivery. Though it's hard to be away from family and friends, it is still not encouraged to travel at this time. Please help keep our community as healthy and safe as possible. Our schools, business and hospitals are counting on us all.
Happy Thanksgiving, friends! Stay well!"
