RUSK COUNTY (DrydenWire) - The Court has approved a motion to dismiss charges of sexual assault that were filed against a Rusk County man in 2022. Darwyn Nelson received criminal charges in August 2022 following an investigation by Rusk County authorities into allegations that he sexually assaulted a child.
Online circuit court records show that on September 16, 2024, an Order to Dismiss the charges of 2 counts of Class B Felony 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault-Sexual Contact with a Child Under Age 13, and Class D Felony Child Enticement that were filed against Darwyn was approved by the Court.
On September 16, 2024, an order to dismiss the charges against Darwyn Nelson was filed.
