RUSK COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Felony charges are proceeding against Alan Christianson, age 37, of Ladysmith, WI, and his sister, Stephanie Christianson, 34, of Ladysmith, for the alleged recording of a closed-door Rusk County Board meeting.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Rusk County Circuit Court, investigators say Stephanie secretly recorded audio from the private session while lingering outside the boardroom and relayed the details in real time to her brother Alan through dozens of Facebook messages and calls.
The case was uncovered after an anonymous records request produced hours of lobby surveillance video. Alan is listed on the Ladymith, WI City Page as the City Administrator.
