RUSK COUNTY — Felony physical abuse of a child charges have been filed against Rusk County man, Erick Kowalski (42), of Hawkins, WI, after authorities investigated a report alleging that Kowalski physically abused two children, leaving marks and bruises on them.
Photographs allegedly showed hand-shaped welted injuries on at least one young child, age 4. Kowalski is charged as a repeat offender, having been convicted of Misdemeanor Battery in 2025.
