NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - CITY OF SPOONER

Please take notice that the City of Spooner is holding a public hearing at the time and location specified above by the Plan Commission of the City of Spooner. The public is invited and encouraged to attend this public hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a Conditional Use Permit for the following parcels:

- 819 Ash St (Former Hospital)
Owner: Maple Ridge Care Center, 819 Ash St, Spooner, WI 54801
The petition proposes to allow renovation of the existing building to include a 5,000 sq. ft. Day Care Facility, which is not listed as an allowable use in C-1, Commercial. Said application and file is available for public inspection at city hall on any business day between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 p.m.
At the hearing, all interested parties will be afforded a reasonable opportunity to obtain information and present their views on the proposed rezoning. Written comments are invited from interested parties including those not able to attend. All written comments must be received no later than 3:00 pm on March 28, 2017. Written comments must be submitted to the Spooner City Administrator, 515 N. Summit Street PO BOX 548 Spooner, WI 54801 and marked Conditional Use public hearing.
