DETAILS OF INCIDENT

The Clear Lake Police Department is investigating the Forgery of two checks that occurred on 1/25/2020 in the Village of Clear Lake. The checks were determined to have been stolen during a burglary in Rice Co MN.

Suspect #2 passed the checks at a grocery store and hardware store for over $200 worth of purchases. The suspect vehicle is a Black 2017 Chev Traverse with MN Plate AAW-125. The registered owner, Gina Nichole Williams F/w 8/15/1982 matches the description of Suspect #1, but that identity has not been confirmed.

Two white females appeared to be in the vehicle.

Suspect #2 enters the store alone at both stores and passes the checks.

Suspect #1 appears to stay in the driver's seat of the vehicle. We are attempting to locate the vehicle and suspects.

The vehicle registers out of Austin MN.


The subjects may be living/staying in the Western Wisconsin/St Paul Metro area. We are looking to positively ID suspect #1 and #2. There have been several checks passed in the New Richmond WI, Rice Co MN, Roseville MN and St Paul MN areas.
