WASHBURN COUNTY — The State has filed reduced charges against a convicted sex offender regarding allegations that he sexually assaulted someone in April 2025.
Ross Orlikowski (39) of Spooner, WI, previously convicted of sexual assault crimes in 2008 and 2010, was charged with felony sexual assault of an intoxicated victim in June 2025 following an investigation by the Washburn County Sheriff’s Office.
Court documents recently filed show that those felony charges have subsequently been dismissed, and new misdemeanor charges have been filed based on the same facts.
