Convicted Sex Offender To Be Released In Chippewa County

The Chippewa County Sex Offender Notification Committee has determined that a Level III notification would be undertaken in regard to the community placement of convicted sex offender Donald N Rusaw who will be released from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections on August 11, 2020. Mr. Rusaw will return to Chippewa County where he is required to live. At this time the Department of Corrections does not have a permanent address for Mr. Rusaw and will consider him homeless once released.

  • September 14, 2004
  • October 6, 2004

Offense(s):

  • 948.12(1M) 17 Counts Possession of Child Pornography
  • 948.02(1) 1st Degree Sexual Assault of Child
  • 948.02(2) 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child

Donald Rusaw has been convicted of sex offenses involving adolescent children. Mr. Rusaw has served the majority of time imposed on him by the courts and will be supervised by the Department of Corrections until August 15, 2058.

Mr. Rusaw’s conditions of supervision will be prohibit him from any unsupervised contact with minors; no contact with his victims and not to consume drugs. Mr. Rusaw is restricted from being on the property of any schools, parks or day care centers. Comply with standard sex offender rules/requirements; GPS monitoring; face-to-face contact with Law Enforcement requirement; and a lifetime registrant of WI Sex Offender Registration Program.
