WASHBURN COUNTY — Effective May 13, 2026, all County Roads in Washburn County are now open to ATV/UTV traffic.
Signage has been installed at all border crossings to indicate where ATV/UTV use is permitted on county roads. “No ATV Traffic” signs remain in place in areas where there is no direct crossing of a state highway.
An updated map showing all county roads open to ATV/UTV use is included below and will also be available on the Washburn County Highway Department website.
Officials remind all operators to drive safely, use caution, and be respectful of other roadway users while traveling on county highways.
