BURNETT COUNTY — A Burnett County man who was charged with driving drunk and seriously injuring a pedestrian in a late-night crash in November 2025 near Webster has avoided felony convictions after reaching a plea agreement in Burnett County Circuit Court.
Luke Beechler, 37, was sentenced on June 1, 2026, after entering a guilty plea to an amended misdemeanor second-offense operating while intoxicated charge stemming from the incident in which a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck and trapped beneath Beechler’s vehicle.
