BURNETT COUNTY — The Court has accepted a settlement agreement on criminal charges that were filed in October 2025 in Burnett County Circuit Court against the owner of Legacy Builders, Micah Flodin, 38, now of Nebraska, for allegedly taking tens of thousands of dollars for a construction project that was never completed.

Flodin was paid more than $44,000 in 2022 to build a pole shed on a local property but failed to finish the job, allegedly spending the money instead on personal expenses, including travel, entertainment, and restaurant purchases.

During a recent court hearing, the Hon, Judge Melissia Mogen accepted the settlement agreement and sentenced Flodin.
