BURNETT COUNTY -- The Court has sentenced the first of three individuals charged following a May 2020 drug bust in the Village of Siren, WI.
DrydenWire.com reported in June 2020, that three individuals had been arrested and charged after authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in the Village of Siren, WI.
Authorities searched a vehicle parked at the residence, and inside the vehicle, found a loaded RUGER P90DC, a glass smoking device (which tested positive for meth), and over $300 in US Currency.
During the search of the residence, authorities located over 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine; nearly 10 grams of suspected cocaine; a digital scale which tested positive for methamphetamine; numerous unused gem bags and other items of drug paraphernalia; over $600 in US Currency; and several cell phones.
Troy Lanning, Gerard Mckee, and Chelsea Lindmeier were found at the residence and all were arrested and charged.
McKee was charged with Misdemeanor Carry Concealed Weapon and Misdemeanor Possess Drug Paraphernalia. A second criminal complaint was filed against McKee in July 2020, charging him with Domestic Disorderly Conduct.
At a hearing on September 25, 2020, the Court accepted McKee’s plea of Guilty to his charge of Misdemeanor Carry Concealed Weapon. The remaining charges filed against McKee were dismissed but read in.
The Court sentenced McKee to pay a fine of $500; online circuit court records indicate that has been paid.
Lanning was charged with Class D Felony possession with intent to deliver and distribute a controlled substance, to-wit: Methamphetamine (more than 10 grams but not more than 50 grams); 2 counts of Class F Felony possession with intent to deliver and distribute a controlled substance, to-wit: Methamphetamine (3 grams or less); Class I Felony Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place; and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All of the charges against Lanning were filed with the penalty enhancers of Party to a Crime and Repeater attached.
Online circuit court records show that Lanning is scheduled to appear in October 2020 on his charges.
Charges of Class E Felony Possess w/Intent-Cocaine (>5-15g); Class I Felony Possession of Methamphetamine; and 3 counts of Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia were filed against Lindmeier. The charges against Lindmeier also were filed with the penalty enhancers of Party to a Crime and Repeater.
Online circuit court records show that she is set to appear next in October 2020 on her charges.
