SAWYER COUNTY — An October 2025 Sawyer County incident involving trespass into a residence, property damage, and a confrontation with law enforcement has reached its conclusion.
On October 4, 2025, shortly before midnight, law enforcement responded to reports of a man, later identified as Saul Demain (24) of Hayward, pounding on windows, yelling and swearing, and trying to enter a residence in Sand Lake Township, Sawyer County. Demain was taken into custody and received multiple criminal charges.
Demain last appeared on June 16, 2026, and was sentenced on convictions from his case.
