SAWYER COUNTY — A Sawyer County drug investigation that drew a multi-agency tactical response to a Couderay residence has resulted in felony convictions for Kayla Decora (30), of Milwaukee, WI, who was charged along with 46-year-old Gary Tainter Jr. (46) of Couderay, WI, following a September 2025 search warrant that uncovered narcotics, drug packaging materials, and a shotgun.
Tainter Jr. was sentenced during a court hearing on April 27, 2026 and Decora was sentenced at a court hearing on August 11, 2026.
